Meet Sivan
Sivan Aloni Olidort, Executive Director
Sivan Aloni Olidort is an organization builder with experience in cross-sector collaborations in the Jewish and Israeli spaces. From 2015-2020, Sivan served as Advisor to the Consul General of Israel in New York. Her responsibilities included conducting external communications and maintaining senior level relationships on behalf of the Ambassador with officials in the United States and Israel, as well as supporting strategy development and implementation, managing various projects and drafting speeches and briefings. In her most recent role, Sivan spearheaded together with the former CEO of the Schusterman Foundation the launch of “Our Common Destiny,” a joint initiative of the Israeli government and a private foundation aimed at creating a global platform for Jewish dialogue around issues affecting the Jewish world. In this capacity she also served as liaison to Israeli government officials and served as the initiative’s spokesperson to the Israeli media.
Sivan received her Bachelor’s degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where she double majored in Political Science and Jewish Philosophy. During this time, she held a news editor internship at the Israeli National Radio Station, “The Voice of Israel.” She completed her compulsory IDF military service in 2009. She is also a proud graduate of the Ein Prat Leadership Academy and Israel’s National High School for the Arts, Thelma Yellin. Sivan lives with her family on the Upper West Side in New York City.
